Graphic Artist - Samantha Vastbinder

Samantha has over 20 years experience producing designs and artwork for metal art applications and converting images to vector graphics to generate CNC cut paths. She worked for Mountain Metal Art Ltd. for five years as their in-house graphic designer and for the past 15 years as a freelance designer. Locally, in NW Montana, she works in close collaboration with Curriers Certified Welding to bring clients projects to life, but she has worked on projects all over the world.
Born in Scotland, she has lived there and in England, Greece, Newfoundland, Canada and the USA; and has travelled extensively both recreationally and in her early career as a postdoc research geologist. She spent many months at sea on worldwide drilling expeditions prior to settling for the last twenty years in Kalispell with her husband and three children. Inspired by both her grandfather and her mother's artistry, drawing and graphic design have been life-long passions and she considers it a joy and privilege to work doing what she loves.
